Herb Quarterly

When starting the redesign of this magazine I looked at the current demographic, mostly women fifty to sixty years old. I wanted to keep this demographic, but at the same time breathe a younger breath into the viewing community. By using clean open images, instead of the biomedical illustration, the subject matter of each article can be more easily conveyed. An update to the typefaces and typographic style have brought a new life into the magazine.
